Somatostatin acetate, also known as growth hormone release inhibitory factor, is a natural endogenous regulatory hormone in the human body. It is mainly responsible for regulating the endocrine system and neurotransmission processes. Through interaction with G proteins, somatostatin exhibits the characteristics of inhibiting the release of multiple hormones, and has an inhibitory effect on growth hormone, thyrotropin, insulin, glucagon and other hormones.
