Glutathione is a vital antioxidant that is widely present in human cells, mainly in the form of reduced GSH. It can effectively remove free radicals, protect the sulfhydryl groups of proteins and enzymes in cells from oxidative damage, and provide protection for red blood cell membranes. In addition, glutathione is also involved in regulating the production process of melanin, inhibiting the activity of tyrosinase, and helping to reduce skin pigmentation, thereby showing the dual effects of whitening and anti-aging.
