GHRP-2 is currently available in the pharmaceutical market as a treatment for GH deficiency. GHRP-2 is a fairly effective growth hormone release stimulator. Although it only increases the body's ability to synthesize this hormone on its own, it can also promote the production of high levels of growth hormone compared to exogenous human growth hormone administration, provided that the appropriate dose is given. And compared to growth hormone, it is more cost-effective. GHRP-2 is most commonly used in the bodybuilding world for fat loss and muscle gain, as well as anti-aging purposes. The drug belongs to the class of growth hormone-releasing peptide (GHRP). These compounds mimic the effects of ghrelin, an endogenous gastrointestinal peptide hormone, to some extent. GHRP-2 has a tendency to moderately increase the levels of the adrenocorticotropic hormone ACTH, cortisol, and prolactin. These are seen as spillover effects on other systems.
